Recycled products with PCR-based polyolefins

The PCRPOMIX® brand is dedicated to products made with variable percentages of polyolefins recycled from PCR (Post-Consumer Recycled) sources.

These products are designed to maximize the properties and performance of post-consumer recycled polymers and ensure their perfect compatibility with the widest range of possible applications.

For each product batch in the PCRPOMIX® range, full traceability is guaranteed thanks to SERMAG’s tracking system that complies with the European standard EN 15343 and has been certified by the Italian certification body CSI IMQ Group.

All PCRPOMIX® grades are certified under the Plastic Second Life, Kiwa Covenant and Remade in Italy schemes.

Shown here are some applications of PCRPOMIX® HDPE 0308 L, colored with specific masterbatches and perfectly blow-moldable to produce jerrycans.

PCRPOMIX® HDPE 0308 L

PCRPOMIX® HDPE 0308 L is a 96% recycled raw material in the form of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) granules sourced from post-consumer plastic waste.

Its recommended technical application is blow molding for rigid packaging, especially bottles and containers requiring high rigidity and durability.

This material is also ideal for film extrusion with LDPE and LLDPE. HDPE enhances mechanical properties and ensures the absence of gels and infusions in the film.

The granules appear in uniform light grey color (approx. RAL7040), obtained by adding 4% of a specific masterbatch for recycled HDPE. However, the material can be colored in a wide range of shades (blue, green, red, yellow, etc.). Filtration level in extrusion: 100 µm. Slight detergent-related odor.

PCRPOMIX® HDPE 0308 D

PCRPOMIX® HDPE 0308 D is a 96% recycled raw material in the form of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) granules sourced from post-consumer plastic waste.

Recommended for blow molding rigid packaging, especially bottles and containers with high rigidity and durability requirements.

Also suitable for film extrusion with LDPE and LLDPE. Filtration level in extrusion: 100 µm. Granules appear in uniform black color.

PCRPOMIX® HDPE 3560 SL

PCRPOMIX® HDPE 3560 SL is a 35% recycled raw material in HDPE granules from post-consumer plastic waste.

Ideal for blow molding for rigid packaging. Also suitable for film extrusion with LDPE and LLDPE. Granules are light grey (RAL7035) with up to 4% masterbatch. Extrusion filtration: 100 µm. Slight detergent odor.

PCRPOMIX® HDPE 5540 L

PCRPOMIX® HDPE 5540 L is a 55% recycled HDPE granule material from post-consumer plastic waste.

Recommended for rigid packaging blow molding and film extrusion. Light grey granules (RAL7035), colorable. Filtration: 100 µm. Slight detergent smell.

PCRPOMIX® HDPE 7520 C

PCRPOMIX® HDPE 7520 C is a 75% recycled HDPE granule from post-consumer plastic waste.

Excellent for rigid packaging and film applications. Light grey (RAL7040), customizable with color masterbatch. Filtration: 100 µm. Mild odor.
