The RIMAGLENE® brand includes a wide range of Secondary Raw Materials (SRM) in recycled polypropylene, compliant with Italian standard UNI 10667-3 and European standard EN 15345.
The polypropylene used in compounds is of PIR (post-industrial recycling) origin: a regenerated polymer, a former waste that has undergone specific treatments to be reintroduced into the market.
For each product batch within the RIMAGLENE® range, the recycling history and traceability are guaranteed through the SERMAG traceability system, which follows the guidelines of European standard EN 15343 and is certified by the Italian certifier CSI IMQ Group.
PIR-origin polypropylene may come from thermoforming, injection, molding process scraps, or from raffia, non-woven fabric (TNT), and film waste.
Depending on the type of regenerated starting material, RIMAGLENE® products can be in the form of grinded, densified, or granulated materials.
Color options include transparent, white, black, as well as numerous monochromatic tones and floral shades.
