Recycled Raw Materials from PCR

The RIPLASTENE® brand is dedicated to products made from PCR polypropylene (PP) and polyethylene (LDPE and HDPE), secondary raw materials compliant with the UNI 10667 standard.

The raw material comes from PCR (post-consumer recycling), meaning plastic waste generated by end users—individuals, households, businesses, and enterprises—that would normally be destined for landfill disposal.

For every batch of RIPLASTENE® products, the recycling history and process are guaranteed through SERMAG’s traceability system, which complies with the European standard EN 15343 and is certified by the Italian body CSI IMQ Group.

Depending on the type of source material, RIPLASTENE® products are available as ground, densified, or granulated forms.

RIPLASTENE® R-PP 0307 PCR

Secondary Raw Material obtained from post-consumer plastic waste (PCR) in polypropylene, intended for compounding.

RIPLASTENE® R-POMIX PE 0104 PCR

Secondary Raw Material obtained from post-consumer plastic waste (PCR) based on polyethylene with polypropylene, intended for compounds, molding, and the bituminous membrane sector.

100% recycled PCR-origin product, available in grey pellets.

RIPLASTENE® R-POMIX PP 0206 PCR

Secondary Raw Material obtained from post-consumer plastic waste (PCR) based on polypropylene with polyethylene, intended for compounds and molding.

100% recycled PCR-origin product, available in grey pellets.

RIPLASTENE® R-PE LD 0309 PCR

Secondary Raw Material obtained from post-consumer plastic waste (PCR) in low-density polyethylene (LDPE), intended for compounds and specific molding applications.

100% recycled PCR-origin product.

RIPLASTENE® R-PE HD 0308 PCR

Secondary Raw Material obtained from post-consumer plastic waste (PCR) in high-density polyethylene (HDPE).

Recommended technological application: blow molding for rigid packaging, especially bottles and containers requiring high stiffness and durability.

Also excellent for film extrusion with LDPE and LLDPE; HDPE enhances mechanical properties and ensures no infusions or gels in the film.

The product comes in uniform grey pellets (approx. RAL7031), unmastered and without additives. Color customization available on request (blue, green, red, yellow, etc.).

100% recycled PCR-origin product, available in grey pellets (extrusion filtration 100 μm) or multicolor ground form. Mild scent typically linked to detergents.
